November 23rd - 24th We have our 2nd Men's Fitness & Well-Being weekend retreat here in Zanzibar
7:00AM: ARRIVAL: Arrive at the stunning Zen Boutique Retreat Center where you will be greeted by a member of the Find Your Tribe Team. You will be taken to your bungalow where you can settle in for the weekend.
8:00AM: INTRODUCTION: Refreshing welcome drink and induction of what to expect over the coming weekend
9:00Am - 12:00PM: CONCIOUS CONNECTIVE BREATHWORK. As we take our space in the Yoga Shala, we prepare to be taken on a breathing journey unlike any other. Guided by Thijs Coolen, a breathwork coach with over 7 years experience working with many men over the years.
12:30pm - 2:30pm: LUNCH: Freshly prepare lunch in the Burnt Orange restaurant will be served. A selection of healthy dishes to tickle those taste buds. Fresh juices tea and coffee.
3:00PM - 5:00PM: MENS DISCUSSION CIRCLE: As we gather around the fire pit circle for a good old chat. This safe space is where we open up to like minded guys and talk about anything and everything. Lets get it off our chests and throw those negative words and actions into the fire and start living in the present and looking forward to what the future holds
5:00PM Onwards: DINNER & DOWNTIME: As we draw to the end of the day we can take some time for self reflection, write any thoughts down, reflect on how the day unfolded. Then its to the top of the viewing tower to watch the most amazing sun set on a great day of well-being. Dinner will be served, then its looking forward to day two of fitness
5:30AM- 7:00AM: RISE & SHINE: Early rise and lite jog from Zen Boutique through the quiet village of Mfumbwi to the white sandy beaches of Jambiani. Where we will be doing our sunrise HIIT Workout. 10 station HIIT session. 3 rounds, 45 mins
7:30AM - 9:30AM: BREAKFAST: We head back to Zen Boutique for a delicious breakfast of fresh tropical fruits, a basket of homemade pastries, fresh juice of the day and a warm breakfast of eggs anyway, grilled tomatoes, sliced avocado and sourdough toast.
10:30AM - 12PM: ANIMAL MOVEMENT . Back to our primal instincts. We learn how to keep fit moving around the floor in animal techniques and poses. Fun and Fitness combined.
12:30pm - 2:30pm: LUNCH: Freshly prepare lunch in the Burnt Orange restaurant will be served. A selection of healthy dishes to tickle those taste buds. Fresh juices tea and coffee.
3:00PM - 5:00PM: REFLECTION: As we gather around the fire pit circle for a good old chat. We reflect on the weekend. We set some goals moving forward. We discuss the importance of friendships, togetherness and how we as men need to support each other and talk.
